Centreless Grinding
Our Centreless grinding capacity dovetails extremely well with our Cylindrical grinding capabilities.
Generally considered to be only cost effective for straight forward large batch components we have consistently demonstrated that the advantages of Centreless grinding can be transferred to a number of different types of work most successfully, with notable cost savings.
Centreless grinding is not limited to "through", work such as simple diameter shafts. We can and do grind up to a shoulder using "plunge" facilities. We also stock a large range of wheels allowing us to grind a variety of materials.
