Gee Bee Grinding was established in 1980 by father and son team Gordon and Mark Bruce, primarily as a re-sharpening business, but today the company offers the full range of grinding and sharpening services to engineers throughout the North of England.
With a customer base which numbers some 700 companies and stretches from Teesside to north Northumberland and across from the east to the west coast, Gee Bee Grinding has built its reputation on a belief in accommodating customers both large and small, and extending the same care and attention to quality to both large and small orders alike.
The company often finds itself working to very fast turnaround times to fit customers' own demanding schedule, and is frequently under pressure to work fast and catch up on production time lost before a job has come its way. "We move heaven and earth to satisfy and keep our customers, and we built up a reputation for being quite prepared to work flat out on our customers' behalf," says Gordon Bruce.
